Nonlaser things that I think GFers will find interesting

The outlets alone would be fantastic. Compressed air and air vent? Yes!

Yes, a little small … so, you’d still need to take over part of the house!

IF we were to buy this house, there’s a 4th BR/office down the hall in the basement. i’d probably keep my desk/office in there (and the GF) and then have all the “dirty” stuff in that workshop.

it’s just such a cool and interestingly built space. pretty sure i could just hose most of that down if they’d built a drain in it. two tile walls and i think the other two are LVT mounted on the wall. plus an epoxy floor. sadly they didn’t have a drain in it. but all the power you could want (there’s even a 220 outlet on one wall), water, music, lighting, venting, air compressor, and the extension power cable in the ceiling for things on a middle table.

And a sink!

An industrial sink would be a must for me. The current fantasy would be to put a “dirty” shop in the back corner of my lot with one wall being a cantilevered door that opens onto a patio. It would need electrical, plumbing, probably Ethernet, and a/c; and would likely cost about 50% of the current market value of my house to have built. :joy:

So much room for activities!

That’s about the size of mine but much better set up! I love the air across the ceiling. I really want to set up a dust vacuum across the ceiling so I can switch it between the saws.

Never mind the house, as long as it has this workshop

I’m definitely bad about that waiting until it’s fully cured part! I do use the water raising though
