I would love to hear your explanation of the deliberately wonky side pieces. Is that to make the tools easier to grab, or are you just going for a funky aesthetic?
I think that tilts the bottom section up just a bit to help keep the files from wanting to walk forward out of the slots

Illustrator can also do this. Select the objects you wish to change (you can also select by color or stroke etc) and use Transform Each… This will change the attribute of individual object.
Power user tip, to make interesting designs and patterns select the objects, do some minor transformations and hit Copy instead of Ok. Then hit Command + d to repeat the operation over and over.
In the words of Bob Ross “There are no mistakes, just happy accidents!” haha. I think it’s great, nonetheless. A good paintbrush stand???
