granted- first print - but I put the proof grade acrylic into the bed - and it comes back saying unidentified material?
In the top of the left sidebar where it says UNKNOWN. Tap that and click on the correct material.
If not on the current list, type in enough in the blank search bar until it shows up.
The proofgrade tags are a tad too shiny and I believe glare blocks the reading of them at times.
This also works when you have scrap remnants that have no PG tag on them.

Thanks for the answer, @brokendrum, that’s right.
@thomas.a.zdon, were you able to select the Proofgrade material and finish your print? Has your Glowforge had any other trouble recognizing Proofgrade material?
