Obligatory squid-motif walnut box

My ten-year-old son designed this beautiful walnut box as a Christmas present for his mom. He designed the box in Tinkercad, I brought it into FreeCad and added the finger joints, and cleaned up the squid design so it would cut as a single piece. Pretty happy with how this turned out!

Ah, that’s a piece of blue paper glued inside the box behind the squid.

Nothing like it man, and never a tool that so easily enabled creativity.

Great design, and good job building those stencil bridges. I forget that can be done on things besides lettering.
