I decided to make a picture frame for our babysitter from the twins for Valentine’s Day.
I designed it in two physical layers: the front with the text engraved, scored and cut out depending on where it overlapped the frame, and the back with a 5 x 7 opening to hold the glass in place.
The front part was very tricky to create in Illustrator, but I finally got it all figured out.
Once it was all cut out, I glued the front and back together. I bought a 5x7 picture frame from the dollar store and used the glass and stand from that.
Now, I just need to find the most appropriate picture of the twins to put inside.
