Pictures on acrylic

Hello I have a glow forge pro I have had it for about 3 days I wanted to print a picture onto acrylic, when I do it seems it’s only engraving the sticker that comes over they acrylic does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you!

For light low contrast engraving you often have to remove the paper. You will also want to experiment with the contrast. High/exaggerated contrast often works well.

If you upload the image you’re trying to engrave we might be able to give more advice.

Contrast. It’s reading the image in grey scale. The darker it is the more power it will use, aka the deeper the etch.

You can also increase the power setting manually by selecting on the layer in the Glowforge interface.
This will override the material preset.
