Placing / Cancelling Store Orders

I placed an order for some Proofgrade materials in the store last week. As soon as I placed the order, I realized that I’d made a mistake and went to cancel the order. Only… there’s no option for that. I immediately emailed Support to cancel the order so I could place a new one. They got back to me AFTER I received my order (8 days later) only to tell me that there is no way to cancel orders once placed.

This is a standard e-commerce feature and is unacceptable. People make mistakes and need to be able to cancel orders. Now, I have a box of wood that I spent a lot of money on and have no use for.

So, beware! If you’re going to place an order, double check it before submitting it because, apparently, there’s no going back!

Thank you for letting us know about this. We’re committed to responding promptly to inquiries and failed to do that here. I see you already emailed us about this and we’re working on it there, so I’m going to close this topic.
