Poor Print Quality

A few days ago I had a fire inside my Glowforge Plus, which was the result of the carriage plate belt breaking, leaving the printer head in one spot.

I ordered a new carriage place, cleaned the Glowforge, and installed the new part.

Now my prints have very poor image quality. There is no visible difference between engraved text or scored text. I’ve calibrated the camera, set focus, and run a few test jobs. Nothing I do improves the image quality.

Has anyone run into this problem before?

How did you fix it?

The attached image is the same text, engraved up top and scored bottom line.

Thank you, all, in advance!

Alex

Put a piece of typing paper on the Glowforge bed, set focus, open the Gift of Good Measure and print using Proofgrade 20# paper settings. Share a photo of the result and we can have a better idea of what is going wrong.
