Popping and visible moisture in tube

We have had our Glowforge for quite awhile now. Yay! Tonight it stopped cutting, turned it off, and tube was hot. We noticed some moisture in the outer tube (we have not noticed moisture there before). It is out of warranty. We opened the reservoir (appeared to be a bit of a vacuum feeling upon opening) and it looked low basing it on the measure point; it was about 1/2 way up to the line. As a note, we haven’t opened the reservoir before so this is purely speculation on our part. It does power on.

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble with your Glowforge.

Rest assured, the coolant reservoir isn’t something that will need to be refilled.

To determine the next best steps, has your Glowforge been able to print since it stopped cutting?

Let us know how it goes!

Hi Jeremy,

  • Powers On
  • Moves the head
  • Doesn’t cut
  • No visible light on the tube

Thank you so much for following up with me! I’m going to need some personal information so I’ll be reaching out via email momentarily. I’m going to close this request for now.
