Portal inspired Book Nook

Another book nook! This one was inspired by the video game Portal.

The outer box is cut out of 1/8" HDF. The logos were cut out of medium weight chipboard and there are EVA foam accents that were cut and engraved on the GF.

Inside, I laser cut all the supports for the walls, floor and ceiling out of cardboard/chipboard.

The partial wall is 1/16" acrylic that I cut and engraved on the GF. A lot of the details, like most of the cube dispenser and the exit door, were cut out of medium chipboard and cardstock.

Wow, that’s really cool! At first glance I thought the exterior had been 3-d printed - all the details looked so crisp and clean. I love the glowing floor bits!
