I don’t use color much. But I’d definitely have to get something resistant to masking. If I went through the trouble of coloring it, I would definitely not want to cleah residue off when it was done.

One of my fav methods is to spraypaint a sheet of unfinished ply and seal it with spray gloss sealant prior to using it.
