my premium membership was cancelled and I didn’t know i would lose all of my own files. I now understand that they clear out anything that hasn’t been used in 30 days. I had 3-4 years of files that were being stored. Does anyone know if i reactivate my premium membership will those files be recovered or am I cooked? I obviously would have exported what I needed prior to the membership cancelling, but I missed that in information in the cancellation process. They also do not give any warnings as your cancellation date approaches.

I think if you contact support and get premium again, they could help you. I remember when premium first came about, somehow every file i had ever deleted suddenly showed up in my dashboard, so they might be able to restore those files.

This was a number of years back, so it may have changed, but I was told no. Once files are removed, they are gone forever.

Please let support know! I think if you re-activate they can restore them. (You can then download them by exporting as SVG so you’re not locked in if you don’t want to be).
