no old M447s laying around?
LOL! Riiiiiiiiiight. I’m pretty… Shure… we’ve never owned any. Even when my Dad was super into records and had really expensive needles, none were that expensive. But those expensive needles did give me an appreciation for record needles that nobody else in my life has ever seemed to have.
My younger daughter now has a record player. I’ve tried to instill the value of needles to her.
Oh wow, looks like Shure killed off it’s phono line last year, so crazy prices for them now on ebay. That sucks. Those were great carts.
Now the challenge is to make one that PLAYS…
Oooooo, do it! Do it!
So here we are exactly 5 years later. His birthday’s on Saturday. Gosh… Hadn’t occurred to me to make him a gold record. I wish I had the time! Too much going on to do a proper re-design. At least… I think there’s not enough time. Is there?
I mean, the last time wasn’t exactly planned in advance. Personally, I’m expecting a photo by Sunday.
LOVE this! As a fellow audiophile, this is amazing! My brother is a huge vinyl collector, I’m going to have to do something similar to him for his upcoming birthday!
