Print Stopped Material Thickness Error

Hi There,
The last two nights I am having a horrible time printing on leather.
Files that have never given me trouble are not even starting.

I can set the focus and then I get the error message.

I should mention that 99.9 % of the time I use leather

Have you tried just using the Proofgrade settings for the leather? I’ve been cutting and engraving some leather and have just used the setting for PG thick leather and it works great.

I’m so sorry to hear about the trouble you ran into with material thickness.

I extracted the logs from your Glowforge and have made a small change on our end.

Could you please try running one of the prints that you were seeing the error message?

Let us know if you are still having trouble and we will follow up with the next steps.

Fixed! Thanks so much! Can you share what that was?

I have been using PG and my own settings for leather for a year and a half. Something was up.
Thanks for the input though

Thank you for the update. I’m glad to hear that you’re now able to print as expected! If you run into trouble again, please post a new topic here on the forum or email us at support@glowforge.com and we’ll be happy to help!
