Pro offline, wont come back on

Help! I have a Pro that suddenly is giving me an offline message. I had been using it fine until late last night it suddenly wont connect. I have reset the power several times, reset my modem, all other devices in the house work fine, the Pro turns on and only sits there now then the teal light comes on, But there is no glowforge wifi being broadcast to any device. Ive tried many. Ive got the modem within a couple feet unobstructed of the Pro, laptop is current and up to date, nothing changed at all. Does not set up in the set up page since it wont broadcast the temp glowforge wifi. Name it Ive tried it. I have jobs due now this holiday weekend and I cant get this fixed. Any ideas on this? Im using a macbook pro with sonoma 14.2.1. Gone through the whole list of fixes and nothing works. Thanks for help here!

If the button is teal that means it isn’t connected, but I’ve never run into one that wasn’t broadcasting.

Is there any chance your ISP “updated” your modem so it auto chooses the “best” channel - and turned off your 2.4 channel? That could cause the machine to lose the WiFi in the first place…

Hello. Tried changing wifi channels but cant find out how. Tried Verizon settings and I couldnt find the channels and only saw how to change wifi to 2.4 only. Tried that. But no luck and just have no idea how to change channels. Tried searching online and nothing showed me how for the verion router I have. Still no Temp GlowForge wifi signal being sent out. Cant detect it on 3 different computers and 2 phones. Worried the wifi bord died like I had heard was a possiblity. If anyone knows where to change the channel Ill try that. Appreciate the help. Memorial Day weekend and have so many jobs delayed and losing. Ugh ! Thanks all!

If it is your board they’re repair/replacement time is usually in the 6 week range - so if you don’t have a backup laser of your own, this is the time to find out if there are other users in your area, or a Maker Space, or if your local library has one.

This bites. Things like this always happen on the weekend!

If it’s in wifi setup mode accidentally, pressing the big button once should make it leave that mode and reconnect to the saved wifi network.

If it’s not in setup mode, with the machine powered on, hold the big button for 10 seconds then see if it’s broadcasting the setup network again.
