After I set my project and hit print I see the image move off the material just before the ‘magic button’ comes on.
The material isn’t moving, the image moves making the actual burn off center (1/8" or so)

Try using “Set focus” before you position your art. You’ll get more accurate placement.
If that doesn’t help, you may need to recalibrate your camera.

The reason it jumps is that just before printing the glowforge does an automatic “Set Focus” to show where the cut will occur. If it did not jump it would still cut where the jump shows. By using Set Focus the jump occurs before you do any fine placing allowing you to place the design more accurately.
