Prong has broken in the connection ribbon

I cleaned my glowforge when I noticed that the last prong had broken off at some point. It was still working fine so I let it be. Now it is not working. It turns on and trys to center and focus then the power button turns orange and it does even give me a error on my computer. Anyone have any ideas??

Since the ribbon cable has connectors that use female terminals, I’m assuming that you mean one of the pins in the black connector housing on the printer head is what’s broken. If that’s the case, your only option is to replace the printer head, a part which will cost around $500.00. Contact Glowforge support, send pictures of the issue and they’ll present you with options that align with your warranty status.
