Trying to recalibrate and when I select the laser(by Name), it say it’s offline, but without doing a thing after the error message I can hit create and uploads a file to print
it does this in safari and chrome
I know some folks have found that the WiFi that is plenty strong enough for printing, isn’t solid enough for the camera calibration. Can you try running it through a WiFi hotspot on your phone and see if you have the same issue?
Not to change the subject, but, why are you trying to recalibrate? Most machines never need to run the lid camera calibration, and the lid camera calibration does not improve the performance of the machine. It only assists in visual alignment of files. Even machines that have been moved frequently do not need the lid camera recalibrated.
I’m new at this and if you can tell me what I need to do about the Laser missing the material I would be grateful.
Once I’ve placed a design over the image of material and selected Print, sometimes the laser prints very accurately, right where I wanted it to print. Sometimes I will start setting a design at the edge of a board but it starts printing a quarter inch away and one time like four inches away. Sometimes after the render is finished, I will see the design jump a quarter inch to the left of where I aimed it, and when I execute the print, is a 50% chance of printing where I aimed it or printing where the design jumped to after the render.
yeah, really appreciate any help
Thanks I’m go
I meant to say, I’m not sure if I should do it now after what dklGood wrote I’m gonna share what I replied to “dklGood” and if you have any ideas I would be grateful

The first thing to know is that the camera has a fisheye lens and the view is corrected by software. The camera shows the usable area of the honeycomb tray, not its entirety. Some new users think they are putting their design at the top edge of the wood only to see the cut occur an inch away from the edge. That is because the camera will never show the top edge of a 20 x 12 board. Orient your artwork relative to the lower right corner. Never move the printhead with the machine on because doing so causes the machine to lose track of the location of the printhead. Always use the set focus tool prior to placing your design. Make sure the red beam lands squarely on the material at a place you will have artwork. You can use the set focus tool multiple times in a job before clicking print.
thank you !! - didn’t know about set focus
