Will the glowforge be able to stream its camera feed to some outside software or will there be an available API to pull this feed from the GF in order to monitor and record during active periods?
(Cut head cam feed would be awesome too!)

If GF doesn’t have it available in their system, there are a bunch of video capture or screen capture software/plugins to get it done.
Having the onboard camer do it sure would be simpler.
I second this. Being able to capture and save to device would be a great feature.
I want to do that too! Unfortunately it’s in the hopper for now since the work to stream video is significant and the server cost to manage the bandwidth is nontrivial. It’s something I’d like to do at some point.
You can stream the video over the local network to avoid the bandwidth cost, but it’s still a lot of work to do for a feature which doesn’t actually improve any core functionality
I would love that for QC, YouTube fun, getting troubleshoot help, and for insurance purposes. I don’t plan on having a “Hey guys watch this!” moment, but you never know.
