Has anyone tried placing tape on top of wood before it cuts to eliminate burn marks? I’ve heard of it working but wanted to check here for anyone that had done it.

That’s almost twice as expensive as the option I posted at the top of this thread.
It’s a common trick, they count on you missing the “100 feet” versus “100 yards” quantity.
