Well, sure, the end user can’t fix it. But when it fails consistently for a certain subset of users and you’re given a trivially reproducible test case, as the developer it should take about 30 seconds to find the root cause. As @ihermit2 said, “something could be messed up in your account records for just the few of you” is an awfully good guess. I would put my money on some invalid rows in a database or an incompatible schema change.

That should make it easy enough to fix the problem, then fix the code, then fix the pattern that made the broken code possible, then fix the monitoring that failed to detect this class of issues.

Nope. They said new posts did but transfers into the category won’t. But this originally was in P&S so that might be different but I wouldn’t count on it - I’d post a new issue.
