I’ve had my Plus since 2019 and never had that many issues but after I cleaned it recently it never worked again. It wasn’t even a deep cleaning, but ugh. Support has been helpful and I can upgrade sort of to a refurb pro and I’m actually unsure if that’s a good move (because I don’t like change) but has anyone had issues with refurbs and or has anyone used the Wiregrass Tech to do repairs. I’m not a heavy user, but I want it to work when I need it. LOL.
Wiregrass is very new (last month I think) so I don’t know that anyone has used them yet.
Quite a few of us have refurbs though - they’re generally better than repairs as they’ve been thoroughly tested and come with a new warranty. Sending a broken one in let’s them take their time to figure out what’s wrong and get it fixed correctly, while sending you a refurb lets you get back to lasering

Since you are moving to a pro from a plus, It would be a real upgrade. In most cases they are indistinguishable from new, they can be hotter because they have better cooling, and you can use 18x24 materials that are often less per sqin. than the same 12x20 with no issues. I have not needed to make many really tall pieces, but I use the passthrogh most of the time.
