What happens when you machine gets stuck on scanning… scanning… scanning? It was working an hour ago. I shut it down, and when I came back and turned it on again…scanning…scanning…scanning…

9 times out of 10 that indicates the machine is having trouble maintaining a wifi connection.

Hi there @donnalynn829 - glad to hear your trouble cleared up!
In the event that you run into this sort of behavior in the future, I’d like to recommend the following steps to see if they help:
- Turn off your Glowforge
- Clean your lid camera with a Zeiss wipe
- Remove all material from the crumb tray
- Check that the carriage plate is installed correctly with the teeth on the belt pointing to the inside. You can follow these instructions to clean and check Carriage Plate.
