Scrap Polyhedron

This is a Goldberg II Oct 2,2 polyhedron with 3D printed inter-locking frames. I dove into my scrap pile and laser cut faces with a different piece of scrap material left over from different projects over the past 7 years. It’s a whole bunch of randomness that secretly ties to some of my favorite creations. Not to brag, but I was able to throw away about 4 pieces from my scrap heap after this.

You should definitely brag. Getting rid of scrap is the best.

Love this! I think that’s the reason I gave up quilting though - I can’t figure out what color/pattern to put next to which, so to figure out what color to put next on your polyhedron would be an extreme challenge for me!
