Screen size and GF size different

I am having trouble with the image I see in the GF app showing less wood space then actually is in the GF. Ex., On the screen I have my design as far to the edge as I can get it. But when the design cuts it leaves room that the design could have used on the wood. If there something I am missing.

That’s normal. There’s a strip along the left and across the top that isn’t accessible to the laser, so they aren’t shown in the camera view.

Maximum material width: 20″ (515 mm)

Cutting area: approx. 11″ (279 mm) deep and 19.5″ (495 mm) wide
