Selection in the GFUI

Question that comes up with some files. Is there a way to select various parts of a cutting path, broken apart parts that are all part of the same file - to select those in the side bar or other simple way?

I know people get around this by including a differently colored outline, or grouping the elements outside of the GFUI. I know you can drag a selection window or use the SHIFT key to manipulate the selections, but it still seems a really useful ability to simply select all the parts of a cutting path with one command or click.

Is this possible and I’ve missed it? Thanks.

There is no way to do that in the workspace, but it’s not a bad request for something they might add in the future. To be able to change settings for multiple parts at once, for example?

Thanks for confirming that.

Ya, I can think of multiple uses for it. The ability to quickly select different cutting paths and align them, work with complex files, etc…

Well, consider this a feature request then. Thanks.

I’ve been dreaming of a way to make multiple selections for three years and it’d be SO much easier!

Hi @trocket we currently don’t have a way to do that.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll make sure the team gets them.
