I have 2 new grandbabies this year (as I know I’ve said before 
). I made them a cute ornament from the catalog then decided I needed to design my own. So I decided on a shaker ornament.

They are cousins…and the Kansas one is pretty much on the border so not too far away that we can do a day trip and see her!

Super cute! What did you use to glue the acrylic to the wood?
Super glue. I usually put it on the wood then put a piece of paper on top so any ‘smears’ are evened out then put the acrylic on.
How about 3M tape? Then it’s cut perfectly to match, and if you’ve painted or used colored acrylic, it wouldn’t show.

I do it when I make keychains and other things. And if it’s clear acrylic, the 3M gives it kind of a textured look, which certainly isn’t ideal if you want a nice smooth look, but I’ve not had luck getting any type of glue to not show on clear either.
