Thank you but, that’s not my work. I spotted it on a design blog this morning and, thought it was interesting for its simplicity and, for it looking entirely laser-cut.
It looks like he is using an attached plug-in LED of some sort.
It would be interesting to incorporate an LED panel or strip into the inside of the top, hide the conductors in the body of the lamp and, run the cord out the bottom. Maybe some sort of laserable conductor could even be adhered to the wood before cutting.

Interesting! it does spark a number of ideas taking off from there, I have been playing with many patterns that could go in that direction.
