I built this to sit against a wall with the original idea that the larger shelves would be at the bottom getting smaller as they went up but in the end, scattered them and even laid a large shelf across the feet so much need as there was but as a result had to tie it to the wall with velcro to keep it from toppling over.
Built as originally designed and tightly glued (the posts are weak without the glue but strong with it) you need six small shelves for the back and two of each small, medium, and large shelves for the front, The angle changes as you go up so the front is wider than the back and was originally designed for oak plywood that is about 0.20 thick.
Could you share a picture of yours? Are the shelves meant to be angled, or flat? Having a hard time envisioning how it works with the angled cut outs in the legs… thanks!
Mine is now buried with stuff that would be a landsliding pile pile otherwise. but yes sitting against a wall the feet keep it from falling forward and each shelf slants up a little more each time keeping everything in place and easier to reach inside.
