Skipping engrave and only cut a project

When making a pair of earrings, is there a way to skip the engraving (like delete from the job) and only cut?

Welcome to the community. Yes…just set the engrave section on the left hand side to ‘ignore’. You can also just delete it, but if you want the design to be saved in its entirety for another time, it will be missing that part next time.

In addition to “ignore”, you can also reorder the items in your file. Best practice is to complete all engraves before cuts.

I urge you to work through the Glowforge tutorials to become acquainted with the interface, tools and shortcuts.
