Slow app

Anyone else having problems with the app running slow today?

No, snappy as usual.

running smoothly at the moment…

If it’s still slow, try exiting out and clearing the cache on your browser - sometimes things get backed up (you can do a quick test by opening a different browser - not just a different window - and seeing if it’s fast there).
If it’s slow in multiple browsers it might be an issue with your art…

(or internet connection)

I did have a problem for about 5-10 minutes. I was getting a “queue full” message and couldn’t do anything. But it didn’t last long.

Thanks for the help, everyone. @lcronkite, are you still running into trouble with this? If so, here are some steps that may help:

  • Make sure you’re using one of these common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
  • Update to the latest version of the browser:
    • Go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
    • When you get there, the page will tell you if your browser is up to date. If not, there will be a big button that says “how to upgrade”
  • Clear your cache and cookies.
  • Reboot your computer

If you are still running into trouble, please do the following:

  1. Go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
  2. Click the link underneath “Share my system info with tech support”
  3. Copy the highlighted link
  4. Reply to this, and paste in the link provided. If you’d rather not post it to the forum, you can send it as an email to support@glowforge.com

This will help us understand the circumstances around your error so we can work on it for you.

Haven’t used Glowriosky for a couple of days but all seems normal today.
