Slow Start up with Homing

Status pages are updated by humans. Typically they have to be alerted by the engineers working on the problem that it is affecting customers, and then they have to figure out what to say and how to say it, probably get approval from someone on the messaging, and then actually log in to the thing and post it. It’s no surprise it lags quite a bit
