I’m reaching out to anyone outside the USA for advice. I need to replace my car’s carriage belt, and it’s pretty easy to find in the mainland USA. You can check it out here: Carriage Plate Belt – Glowforge Shop. But here in the UK, I’m having a bit of a hard time finding it.
Hobbycraft, who sell Glowforge products here, don’t seem to have it in stock, even though their website says they do. And some people on Etsy are selling it for a whopping £85 or more! That’s a bit steep, don’t you think?
I even emailed Glowforge’s support team, but I haven’t heard back from them yet. So, I’m wondering, what do people outside the USA do when they need parts? Is there a better way to find what I need?
