Squares not square (Replacement unit fixed problem)

Presumably the pulley is screwed to the rail with a spacer. You could check if the screw is fully tight. If it is loose it will lean due to belt tension.

I’d recommend against doing a repair until at least Monday night (which I figure is enough time for the Support staff to get to this thread after the Thanksgiving weekend).

I’m not touching it with a tool until Support weighs in. :grinning: If they’re okay with me checking that screw, I’m happy to do so.

Wise idea.

That pulley is adjustable to achieve the proper belt tension. If you loosen the screw (3mm hex drive, if anyone is curious), the pulley will slide back and forth, left to right/right to left.

If the pulley was already loose, the belt would likely be loose as well.

Interesting, the pulley looks to be leaning in the photo. If it is tight then the spacer must have a slant.

I’m so sorry for the delay in my response.

I took a look at the information posted here and I’m sorry to say that your Glowforge has a problem we can’t fix remotely. I’ll reach out to you via email to sort out the details. I apologize for the inconvenience.
