No, eye protection is not included in the machine. Most of us never use goggles or anything like that since the Glowforge lid is made of protective glass.

Just tell them bbq - that’s a wood smell. Meth has an ether smell (know that only because of law enforcement stuff).

lasered acrylic smells like burning crack, I have never smelled meth (grin) BUT I did live in NYC most my life.
Kinda like being at Cal Expo in Sacramento in the early 70’s. I was in 4H and we had a singing group that performed there for a week. We’d be riding some of the rides when we weren’t performing and the smell of marijuana was soooo strong.
