Stencils monoprinting

I would like to cut my own stencils for mono printing.

What is a safe and recommended material to use?

Thanks so much for any help!

Valerie.

Thin acrylic is great if you want something that can be used over and over again, but as the point of monoprinting is one and done, I’d use cardstock.

I cut stencils a lot, and like to use either 7-mil or 10-mil Mylar (polyester) stencil material. They wash off easily and are flexible and reusable. That’s if you are using a Performance printer. The Aura/Spark probably can’t cut that material due to its color and transparency.
