Best way to check your signal strength is to log into the router admin panel and check signal strength there. Google holds instructions for that.
The Glowforge doesn’t seem to acquire as strong of a connection as other devices. I’ve noticed it has a weaker signal than other devices (as noted by the router interface) than other devices that are nearby.
From your post history, you seem to have had a number of connection related issues.
