I just finished two different cuts and now I keep getting a message that tells me the camera isn’t taking picture. I’ve done the lens cleaning, checked cables, etc. Powered on and off several times and still can’t get that error message to go away. Prior to that, I got the “head not found” message, but that’s gone away. Been stuck in “scanning” mode for over 15 minutes now. And yes, I’ve even disconnected from the internet, rebooted everything, and started over. Nothing is helping!!
A bad black cable can cause what you are seeing. When the metal just cracks It will connect just occasionally and then less and less till it no longer happens. Support can look at the logs and make a better judgment. A black cable is a real pain to install and I would not do so unless it was the only way. However, it is cheaper by far than having to send the machine back.
I hope it’s not that. I haven’t even had this machine a year yet.
If still under warranty that would be a good thing. That Black cable is notorious as treated gently (particularly when opening the lid) you can go years without a problem, but open the lid to far or similar and only once will do the damage.
