Summer Shut Down

I’m a getting ready to shut down my classroom for the summer and was wondering if anyone has some tips about cleaning/storage?

A full cleaning following the instructions provided would definitely be a good idea.

If there’s any chance somebody will helpfully move it while you’re gone I’d replace the orange bits and packing foam.

And perhaps put it in its box also. Otherwise the box might get trashed, and if it is moved it will be safe. The crumb tray will not fit and must be stored seperately.

Thank you. It won’t be moved, it’s just dirty even though I run the filtration system.

I suggest the Glowforge instructions and videos rather than Youtube.

YouTube will get you instructions that often lead to posts that say “I deep cleaned my machine and now it doesn’t work”.

The link I sent above has a video at the top, and then written instructions below it. Stick with those.
