SVGs in forum never seem to render properly

Anyone else have issues uploading svgs? Is this a known thing and I’m just late to the party?

There are ways around that, maybe for next time? Attaching an SVG of how it could be done. [starsides] And since the forum seems to hate my svgs, here it is in PNG: [starsides] (New png with white BG, much better.)

It is pretty well known.

SVGs often scale poorly. There are workarounds if you want to dig deep in the forum.
I find, for my style anyway, the best way to handle things is to put files for sharing into a zip and then post raster files for discussion.

Yes. It strips out presentation style CSS as a security measure. And, if the SVG export doesn’t contain real units, it will resize it based on pixels, I believe.

You can change the export in Illustrator to this:

Or, you can zip it and upload the zip file.

They upload. Sometimes you don’t see them because the tag is in pixel dimensions. Add a few zeros on to the height and width in the tag.
