Got a request from my sister for her baby shower to do something cool and on theme as a prize.
I have been lurking the last couple months again and stealing all the tricks you guys came up with for tiles, so these were done as a double pass, first a slightly defocused pass to blow off the glaze smoothly, then a second properly focused pass to burn the gray scale of the picture into the tile itself. Box is proofgrade maple and nothing fancy, but, you gotta have a box to right?
I am pretty pleased with the results.
