Table topper for Alumni week

Reunions are a big thing in my town. Every 5 years classes return and make a weekend of it. One of the events is an Alumni banquet. Its traditional to have a set of Table toppers for each 5 year class. This year I am making a scaled down version of our '88s for our table topper. Likely I will make 3 sets of '88s for this years reunion.

I prototyped it in cardboard first. I’m probably going to fill the sides with Bondo and sand flush, then prime and paint for the final finish.

This is kinda normal. Classmate @johnwills designed our T-shirts.

I’m thinking to kick it up a notch I may put some party Poppers in the tops of them, and have them go off when our class speech is done.

Either that or I will put in an Alumni Banquet Survival kit. Pens paper and Candy. Banquet can be quite long.

Cool idea.
Here’s another one…keep them made out of cardboard, but fill them with candy. After the dinner…pinatas!
