Just finishing up a couple of test engraves on non-Proofgrade birch ply. The top image (John Snow’s Cholera map) is straight from the web and the Star Wars concept art is from a photo I took at the Denver Art Museum last year.
Here are final results after removing the masking. The concept art has a really nice 3D effect that doesn’t quite come through in this image, btw.
NB: the scorch marks are from a prior project – I just used a piece of scrap ply for this test.
