From some other posts here, it’s clear that the GF runs Linux and has plenty of local storage in addition to the RAM that it uses to buffer jobs now. Unless there’s some unusual limitation to storage, the GF should be able to download huge jobs to the local storage, then spool from there through RAM to the print. IMO, anyway. As you point out, it’s safer using local storage than spooling files across the network.
