lockpicking is an incredibly useful hobby. I wish I was better at it. At the peak of my skill/practice level I was able to pick my own front door lock in less than an hour!

We used dental floss, a library card and a power cord to break into each other’s rooms in college.

At one point, I had a few locks (desk, filing cabinet, couple others) that I could open faster with picks than digging out the key.
