Torn ribbon

I posted about my ribbon being torn and Morgan from glowforge closed out the conversation. Did you disable the fan because now the flame is very high and the wood is getting burned bad.

They are working with you via email, you need to continue the discussion there. Posting here has opened a new ticket, that won’t be seen for up to a day.

Stop trying to use the machine…they will have to arrange for, and send you, a new carriage plate before it is safe to use.

Just turn it off until you hear from them via email. :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, it looks like your unit is experiencing an issue that we can’t resolve remotely. I want you to have a reliable unit, so I’m recommending we replace this one. I’ll be in touch via email to sort out the details. I’m so sorry about the bad news.
