Since you’ve already sent a request to support this is a duplicate ticket so it will slow down their response - next time do one or the other - or we can move this to Everything Else. In the case of both an email and a community post they will always close the community post and respond via email

OK, now that’s out of the way!

  1. Don’t waste the material, just put new masking on it - and use both sides
  2. Some folks hit that error due to an issue with their wifi (a wifi that worked perfectly for all other :glowforge: operations) so, if you can, you might try it with a hotspot off your phone
  3. Is your material all the way to front of your machine? You shouldn’t be able to see any grid in front of your machine (you can even butt it up against the front door to be sure)
