'Twas the real night before

I sketched this out in August and just finished this weekend, it has been sitting on my desk half done for at least a month. Wanted to do a play on the modern day Christmas story to show the true Christmas story. A new take on the Nativity in panaramic layered , lighted box style. It uses 2 sheets of wood, I used 1/8" and measures 18"x3.5"x3" I have LED lights that snake through the base. I used several types of stain on the layers and also painted the back of the middle layer to kick some blue onto the stained back sky layer. My illustrations could use some work but I decided it was time to put it out and get some feedback. Let me know what you think.

It is very pretty and well executed. How does it look with the lights off?

Thanks. I see it was already posted, but I was looking at the light behind it. It obviously dresses up the mantle whether it is illuminated or not.
