A couple of weeks ago my oldest, Jess, she’s 20, said something along the lines of “I should really get a pocket knife.” I pretended to just shrug off the comment with a “Oh yeah? Sure. Pocket knives come in pretty handy.” Meanwhile what I was really thinking was “Must remember to order anodized aluminum pocket knife for Jess when we get home.” And so I did.
