Unplugging my machine while not in use

I’m a bit of a electric snob & like unplugging things when not in use lol but for some reason I second guessed myself doing it with this machine.
Does anyone unplug while not in use? Do you think this would mess up anything?

I do it every time as well. I don’t want to have to worry about a thunderstorm taking out my GF. I’ve lost a fair amount of appliances that way already.
